Cricket dice game
Roll six dice and resolve a whole over of cricket at once — runs, dots and wickets, 20 overs, 10 wickets and a chase. Free in your browser, no signup.
How the dice play an over
- 1. Deal two squads and flip the toss — bat or chase.
- 2. Roll six dice, one per ball of the over.
- 3. Each face scores: dots, singles, twos, fours, sixes — or a wicket.
- 4. Between overs the umpire turns an event card that can swing the next roll: a free hit, an aggressive field, a tired bowler.
- 5. After 20 overs the sides swap. Level scores go to a Super Over.
What each die face means
| Die face | Result |
|---|---|
| ⚀ / dot | Dot ball — beaten, no run |
| ⚁ / one | Single — one run, strike rotates |
| ⚂ / two | Two runs — quick between the wickets |
| ⚃ / four | Four — pierced the infield |
| ⚄ / six | Six — over the rope |
| ⚅ / wicket | Wicket — the bowler strikes |
Bowler traits bend the odds — a swing bowler turns more faces into wickets, a slogger turns more into sixes — so every squad rolls a little differently.

From playground classics to dice
Crickee is the dice cousin of book cricket and hand cricket — the no-equipment games played in classrooms and back yards. Same instant scoring, but dice let Crickee add squads, traits, event cards and proper chases.
Questions people ask
- What is a cricket dice game?
- A cricket dice game replaces live play with dice rolls. Each die stands for a ball: numbers score runs, and a wicket face (in Crickee, a roll of one that the umpire's card or bowler trait converts) sends a batter back. Six dice at once resolve a whole over, so a full match takes minutes instead of hours.
- How do six dice resolve an over?
- One die per ball. Faces show dot balls, singles, twos, fours, sixes and wickets. Crickee rolls all six together, shows them on screen, then updates the scorecard, run rate and over log instantly — just like a real over, ball by ball.
- Do I need to know cricket rules to play?
- No. The scorecard does the counting for you: runs, wickets, overs and the required rate in a chase are all worked out automatically. If you can roll dice, you can play a full match.
- Is this cricket dice game free?
- Yes. Crickee runs free in the browser with no download and no signup. Play solo against the computer, two players on one device, or share a room link for an online match.
- How is this different from book cricket or hand cricket?
- Book cricket scores from page numbers and hand cricket from thrown fingers — Crickee keeps that instant, no-equipment spirit but uses dice, so it can add squads, bowler traits, event cards and a Super Over while staying just as fast.
